#IARTG THE DRAGON DREAMER BY J.S. BURKE, #YA #SCI #FANTASY
By Nikki B. Williams
This story is incredibly well-written and, best of all, put a unique and unusual spin on the typical dragon world and story. Loved the inclusion of octopi as main characters with their highly detailed culture and world. Such an unexpected combination of creatures in a story — but it works, and works well. The characters are developed fully, and the dragon society was unique and unusual — hard-to-find elements in today’s overabundance of dragons! Best of all, the author incorporated all significant elements of culture: art, celebration, trade, tradition and more, to spin a comprehensive and “believable” world. I can’t wait for the next book in what I hope will be an extensive series!
