She returns in the middle of a snowstorm, a deer runs out in front of her, she swerves to avoid hitting it, loses control of the car, goes into the river. This was by Adam’s house, he sees it and rescues her and her son. She is taken to the hospital and the doctor treating her is her twin brothers lifelong best friend.
There is quite a bit of history, hard feels among some of the characters. Regan must be honest with herself and everyone else as to why she left like she did, that Adam is her son’s father. Mark the doctor wants to have a relationship with her, accepting her son as his own. The person who was stalking her three years ago and threatened to kill Adam is still in town and has sent a threatening letter again. Reagan can’t run away this time.
You will not want to put this book down. Ms. Remenicky has put together a very suspense filled live story. Looking forward to reading more from her.
