This is the first book in Author, Cherime MacFarland’s, Copper River Romance series and I love it. I was intrigued by this story for a number of reasons. I don’t know much about the state of Alaska but the author’s vivid descriptions of the frigidity of the setting and the associated exiguous life style of young Dorcas were realistic enough for me to curl up with a huge warm comforter!
It was also refreshing to read about a budding romance between two people who despite their strong physical attraction respect each others differing religious outlooks enough to maintain a friendship while sorting through their feelings for each other.
This book is well written and I highly recommend it to readers looking for a good romance.
