I finished it in one reading, including during an annoying phone call. All I can say is don’t look away, and if you miss something go back. Author Carol Kauffman had me at the first murder. Yes, a Christmas book with a murder (or a few). “Christmas at Star Lake,” is a fast-paced, page-turner that will grip you and then slap you, all the while whisper Merry Christmas.
