Jay and Leda's story is so beautiful, as moving as the setting that wraps around it in such detail I could imagine being there with them. I enjoyed how Leda's experience gave her a special understanding of Jay and his PTSD, as well as that her own anger issues made her real and someone that Jay wasn't intimidated by. Her reasons for being angry, the school issues, added another layer of depth that showed us a side of both her and Jay that made them even more endearing. Jay's brother and sister, and even his doctor were nicely drawn sinking me deeper into a reality where I am more an outsider more like the doctor. I also adored Licker. I'm looking forward to reading more in this series. I didn't read any other parts, so I can attest that you can start right here as the story in this book is self -contained and fantastic.
