Adam Ludsgarden - Sebastian's nephew - is now in high school, but is being a smart mouth. Since he's learned that Sebastian's roommate, Jaysen Stripe is gay, Adam suspects his Uncle Sebastian of sexual acts. Harping on the thought of his father's death, Adam takes matters into his own hands by attempting to ruin his uncle's reputation - with the help of a friend. After a while of tormenting Sebastian, it's up to Adam and his friend to make the ultimate sacrifice.

The author really shows his mettle in this story. Mr. Nosach has taken on the topic of abuse, drinking and suicide. Adams best friend Curtis is being beaten by his drunken father and gets to the point where he finds only one solution. Adam feels the loss profoundly and Sebastian doesn't know how to handle his nephews grief. The story is told with compassion and I gave it five stars for sensitive story telling
