Another great twist on a classic fairy tale. Ms. Lawrencovna is excellent at writing complicated, interesting characters who you learn to love (or love to hate).

I loved Seasons of Our Love. The well developed characters nudged their way into my heart or not. Some I loved to hate. I rooted for Danny and Rosie from start to finish. The story moves, but not linearly. With lots of twists and turns, you might want to fasten your seat belts. Whenever I put the book aside, the story lived inside my head calling me back. I never stayed away too long because I knew the author had more surprises in store. I hope there’s a sequel because I didn’t want this one to end. Angela wove an intriguing, compelling romance that anyone with a soft heart will want to read. I look forward to more from Angela Gascoigne.

Using first person, the author confers on character Emlyn Goode the dual tasks of protagonist and narrator, sharing her insights and uncertainties with an unflinching self-deprecation that made me feel like she was sitting across from me at a shared table. A novelette, BELLA VITA gives more of what we first discovered in Solomon’s THE MAGIC OF MURDER, a 5 star full length work that focused on a modern day witch coming to terms with her inherited powers. I sense that the author in her enthusiasm just had to shareher down-to-earth character one more time before the follow-up to MAGIC releases. Thank you for that. BELLA VITA is a nice bridge between the novels. 5 stars

This book definitely caught my attention as soon as I started reading it. At first it started very slowly, but as the book progressed, so did the speed. I was intrigued by the mystery and was not able to predict the ending. I think that was the best part about the book. I also really enjoyed the spirituality in this story. It was almost as if there were two stories in one. What a great read!

I fell in love with The Magic of Murder! It is a charming, funny, and very interesting twist of a mystery!

I enjoyed following Emlyn Goode in the discovery of her family heritage and her unique abilities as well as finding out who did it! I admit it was quite a surprise to find out who it actually was!!!

Emlyn is a delightful character, I loved her humor. Even Elvira made me laugh many times. It was easy to slip into the minds of each character and see through their own eyes the events which were unfolding and taking place around them. Being a resident of the Niagara area it was wonderful to be able to picture in my mind all the places mentioned throughout the book. Sue has written an awesome story, definitely worth 5 stars and more. Cant wait to read the next one, hope there will be many more to come!
