“Janet occasionally finds herself in more than one messy moment, and her struggle to overcome is lovely and heartwarming.” Skies of Blue by Pamela Ackerson

Tomorrow was a promise of hope and second chances…

Janet Nelson looked in the mirror and all she saw was a broken and cracked reflection. When did everything go so wrong?

She went from a pretty cushy life to a harrowing gut-wrenching devastation called survival. Buried in despair she couldn’t let go of the little spark that kept her moving forward believing that hope was within reach.

Janet was determined to make it through, because…she was a fighter, a survivor. An incredible story of inner, personal struggles and courage.

I enjoyed this story a great deal.

Life gets so messy sometimes. For some of us, the messiness is short and occasional, for others it is long-lasting or frequent. In any case, we all have messy moments and how we recover from them makes all the difference in the world to us and those who love us.
Janet occasionally finds herself in more than one messy moment, and her struggle to overcome is lovely and heartwarming.
I enjoyed this crossover story a great deal, the author makes the emotions very understandable and the characters seem quite real. The setting of Lockwood Manor/Cedar Hills Museum is used in other books by the author and is far more important to those stories.
Great writing gets 5 stars from me!
