#dystopian #bestseller #bookbooster

WARNING  FOR 18+ ONLY

The G.O.D. series must be read in order

November 12, 2052: Earth has lost two-thirds of its population to the Great War. Many more lives have been lost to earthquakes, the Clover Virus, and the Death Plague. Years later, survivors are clumped into factions. Two of those factions—the Brotherhood and the Guild Faction—have battled over medical supplies and food for years. The fight is coming to a head as manpower dwindles, and the struggle becomes one to gain numbers, even if said numbers are children…Griffin Storm, an albino man kidnapped and dragged into the Brotherhood, has transformed into a G.O.D., a Genetically enhanced Omni-dimensional being. Two weeks in the brig, and Griffin’s released after it’s determined that he’s learned to control most of his god-like abilities. His abilities have grown almost as much as his love for Tassta Vinetti and his unfortunate bloodlust. His bond with Tassta’s twin brother, Penn, has grown as well and is cemented in secrets. Not disappointed!Griffin, having earned the trust of Fortress authorities, is set to be released from The Brig, much to the delight of Tassta, his sweetheart. Although Griffin still has a lot to learn about balancing his newfound abilities against his inherent humanity, overall he does well and has enough control over his abilities to prevent caving into his inner desires. As his and Tassta’s romance heats up, Griffin gets the horrifying news soon after his release, Griffin’s told that Guild agents and the notorious Trips (super-agents of the Guild) are in the Underground. He must now test his abilities to save the abandoned children that live there. Will Griffin rescue the children of the Underground from a tragic end? Will Tassta and Griffin’s love survive such turmoil? Can a G.O.D. forgive himself when death and destruction follow his every move? Read Blood Phase, the gripping second book in the G.O.D.s Series!

Awesome

An awesome follow-up to Blood Master: Book 1 of The G.O.D.s Series Blood Phase follows on seamlessly from book one, and we rejoin Griffin, Tassta, Lerin and all, in the continuing story. Once again the characters are well-fleshed out and have their own personalities, and are like friends I’ve known for years. I feel their love, fear, confusion, frustration, and sorrow, and my heart goes out to them. The descriptive writing draws you in and keeps you there through all the twists, turns, and actions, and doesn’t let go until you turn the last page. I am eager to read the next book and discover what happens next.

“THE STAR” is an enchanting book, illustrated with beautiful, colorful, and whimsical paintings, by world-renowned artist Judy Mastrangelo. It contains the entire immortal poem, which is also known as “TWINKLE TWINKLE LITTLE STAR”, written by Jane Taylor. Judy has interpreted this in a unique and enthralling way, with delightful Fantasy Animals and other imaginative characters, all playing in a Magical Night-time Sky. Review: “THE STAR” is certainly a star release. Beautifully put together, handsomely designed, and delicious in every way. This book will make a fine addition to the collections of those who love great artwork.

A book for those who appreciate soft, classic, traditional illustration.

I got really interested in Judy Mastrangelo right when I first met her work. A contemporary artist doing such meticulous artwork in this classic, traditional style is a really rare thing to find. I was very intrigued and curious to read and see her books. The Star is a book illustrating the famous poem Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star by Jane Taylor. I think the book is nice. The illustrations inside the book are as lovely as the cover illustration. The ageless, soft style in pink, blue and yellow of the illustrations fits nicely this classic poem. I appreciate the dedication with which these images were made, creating a dreamy world of orderly, sweet beauty. The design and formatting of the book are ok, but I think that these illustrations deserve more refined formatting. I recommend this book for children and adults who appreciate soft, classic, traditional illustrations.

“…you’re on the edge of your seat when he goes after the bad guys.” – SUnset 4 (Carson Reno Mystery Series Book 6) – by Gerald W. Darnell

All Carson Reno Mystery Series Books are standalone novels. It is not necessary to read them in any particular order.
In 1962 the quiet, and seemingly innocent, activities at the Humboldt Motel in this small West Tennessee town went unnoticed and unchallenged. Besides, a little booze, a little gambling, and maybe an occasional ‘lady of the evening’ never hurt anyone, right?
Then one fall night after a football game, things began to come apart. It seemed that everything was not how it should be, or at least, how it appeared.
Unfaithful housewives, a football coach fixing game scores, a crooked private detective, and eventually a murder, would bring exposure to ‘SUnset 4’. And that was something its operators didn’t want.
Carson isn’t involved in the investigation, but it seems everyone thinks he is. Protecting a friend, he tries hard to ignore things that are simply not right. Finally, he follows instinct and tackles the innocent and the guilty in ‘SUnset 4’.

What a fantastic book!

Carson Reno seems to get pulled into investigations he’s not originally privy to. In SUnset 4 he uncovers some shady goings-on and you’re on the edge of your seat when he goes after the bad guys.
I highly recommend this book!
