Very good story

This was a very good story. I loved all the caricatures in this story. Karen and Standing Deer made a great couple. I really liked it when Standing Deer was in the future with Karen, it was a laughable time. I was saddened by the fact that the story ended the way it did. I do hope the second book will be a continuation of the first book. I do recommend this book, it was well-written. Happy reading!!!

Excellent! Along with the adventure & romance was history. The history of our Native Americans and how they were treated is so very sad. Ms. Ackerson wove the threads of this story into a beautiful tale. I can’t wait to read her next one.

Creative Mix of Historical Fiction and Time Travel

Didn’t know if I would like this so I just purchased Book One and really enjoyed the mix of historical fiction and time travel. Now have the next two books loaded on my Kindle and hope they too are as fun to read. Every nation in the world got their power through conquest. Even Native Indians have that history. Pamela Ackerson has put a human face on that struggle in a very creative way that allows the reader to have their feet in both the past and present. Highly recommend!

Still very interesting!

Why do I say this? Because I’ve read this story before and wanted to refresh my memory before I go on to the second book. I found it just as wonderful as the first time I read it! You will not be disappointed. I was so engrossed in the story that I wasn’t even aware it was ending until it had. So I’m ready to start book two. I finished this one in a day. Enjoy!
