“I also liked that there wasn’t too much drama when they came back into each other’s lives. It was all love and forgiveness…fun and growth.” – Always You by Trish Edmisten

Can you get a second chance if you never truly had the first?

Bailey and Trey were just kids when they met. Being placed in the same group home wasn’t exactly an ideal circumstance for starting a new relationship, but it didn’t matter. Two weeks was all it took to lose their hearts, but two weeks was all they had before their sweet summer romance was over. From the moment Bailey walked out of the group home, and out of Trey’s life, Trey vowed he would do whatever it took to get Bailey back. He just never expected it to take ten years. So much has happened since they met, but there’s never been anyone else for Trey. Now, he has to find a way to convince Bailey this thing between them is real, and it’s forever.

Always reading something…

Bailey and Trey…

Good read. Enjoyable if you like the idea of love at first sight or kismet….soulmates! Bailey and Trey meet in a group home right after Bailey has lost his mom. Trey takes one look at Bailey and wants to love and protect him always. They’re only together for a short period of time before Bailey leaves, but they both feel like they’re destined for each other. There’s a ten years gap from that time at the group home and when they come back into each other’s lives. I liked that I got to experience the impact their childhoods made on them as adults. I also liked that there wasn’t too much drama when they came back into each other’s lives. It was all love and forgiveness…fun and growth.

First time reading this author…and I wasn’t disappointed. Would definitely read more from her!

Emotional Journey

This book caught me by surprise. This is such an emotional journey for Bailey and Trey. It tugged at my heart and pulled out a few tears along the way but it was all so good and so worth reading.

“Funny, sweet, and sexy from start to finish. A total win! Can’t wait for Games We Play!!!” – Moved By You by Trish Edmisten

Cooper Mitchell isn’t what most men expect. Most men see his silver hair and dressed-up dog and assume he’s a sassy little bottom. Cooper may be sassy, but he’s nobody’s bottom boy. That’s just fine with Roger Nice. All it takes is one look and Roger knows Cooper is everything he wants, but can Cooper be the type of Dom he needs? Or are there some things that are just too much to ask? Roger doesn’t think so, at least he hopes not, but will Cooper agree?
Note: This is the third book in the series. While it can be read as a standalone, the other two books should be read first for maximum enjoyment. No cheating, no cliffhangers, and a guaranteed HEA.

“I have read (and loved) each of the previous Nice Ink books, and this was no exception.” – Games We Play (Nice Ink Book 4) by Trish Edmisten

 4 Games we Play

Everyone else can fall in love and live happily ever after, but Xavier Owens doesn’t plan on doing the same. With a successful business, plenty of friends, and no shortage of willing bed partners, he always thought he had everything he needed. The only thing missing in his life is someone to share his kink, but that’s not going to happen. The last time Xavier let someone into that part of his life left him with a bruised ego and a broken heart. While both have long since mended, he’s not interested in falling in love again. Fate has other plans in the form of sweet and shy Oliver Nice. There’s something about the man that draws Xavier to him like a moth to a flame. Hopefully, this time he won’t get burned. This is a 78K word novel with no cheating and a guaranteed HEA. Although it’s part of a series, it can be read as a standalone.

Exactly what I was hoping for!

I have read (and loved) each of the previous Nice Ink books, and this was no exception. I wasn’t sure what X and Oliver’s story would involve, and I wasn’t expecting some of the twists in the book, but they just made the story even better. The simple joy of the characters in each other was heartwarming, especially in these uncertain times. I received an ARC in exchange for a fair and honest review.
