Jacob Langendoen has been charged by a Spirit named Celeste, to find an item she can’t touch – the Nirvana Doomblade. However, she grants Jacob with a winged tiger, which he has to nurture, naming him Sagittarius. The weapon is a sword that no one in Heaven has created, yet God wants it returned in His realm. Jacob has to travel back in time to retrieve with the help of his parents, Frank and Wanda, sending him to 1800’s New York City with Sagittarius.
Soon Celeste is in deep trouble for giving Jacob not one but two gifts, and her exitance is on the line if Jacob Langendoen doesn’t come through.
Lindsey, Jacob’s eleven-year-old sister, begins to confront her parents, asking questions about her older brother’s murder. And when she hears – not from God – about Jacob being in trouble, she wants to go to any length to help.
