"I was flabbergasted by the whole story. Congratulations on a superb writing job." ~ Crow by Amanda Mackey

This is a dark romance. Those who have triggers, please be warned.

Death.

I'm the Grim Reaper.

My face is the last thing my victims see.

I take life without blinking.

Bred this way by the devil himself.

The asshole who raised me.

When the time comes, I'll bury him too.

In the meantime, the little starling feeding the birds in the park, has my full attention.

Raven coloured hair. Disarming eyes that infuse my dead heart with oxygen.

The broken pieces of me want her to put me back together,

but the monster is calling to come out and play.

Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star....

AMAZING!!!

My first impression of the cover was that it was going to have to do with voodoo, live sacrifices or witchcraft. That is why I put off reading it. Boy was I wrong to wait. I loved the story and the plot. You wrote in a way that exposed evil and darkness but not to the point where it overwhelmed my sensitivities. It is too cruel to have to wait till next year for the follow-up. I wish I could keep reading and reading and reading. The characters Crow and Aria are mature and realistic. I loved them. Even Crow’s two brothers; in the end Blade surprised me when he was emotionally supportive of Crow. I was flabbergasted by the whole story. Congratulations on a superb writing job. Can’t wait for Little Starling. This is a fascinating story and I highly recommend it.

WOW Crow doesn't disappoint !!!

Crow is a dark souls, but has a good heart when it comes to Aria. After being abused as a child, Crow thinks he has no empathy or ability to love. He's a merciless killer and thinks that's all there is to him. Aria is a bird lover that feeds the crowd in the park. She's intrigued by the man that has a pet Crow and calls her little starling. When his family threatens Aria, Crow will stop at nothing to save her, which throws him for a loop, since he doesn't save people, he kills them. Just a quick note that there is a cliffhanger of sorts, though it doesn't seem like it at first glance. Doesn't end the way you think it will. Well worth the read. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Wonderful story and exciting and great storytelling.
