Great short story by an author that knows the genre

Michael Bussa does an amazing job at writing short stories. I have read several of them and always find the stories roam around in my mind long after the last page is closed. This tale is intriguing, and I found the President, a man who demands loyalty and has a secret agenda, strangely familiar. However, this story takes place in the sixties, not the present, but no matter the timing, a wrong man elected will always happen. The premise of the story is interesting and one I am sure a lot of leaders have thought about. I would have liked this short story to be a bit longer because it feels more like a novel than the author’s usual twisted ending stories, but that said, this is one to grab and savor.

Book two comes out. Like it’s predecessor, His Soul to Keep, this book is a gem. I was anxiously awaiting its release and immediately devoured it when I was able. The plot twists are exciting, especially when Hogart’s and Sam’s characters develop. I loved how Rail and Cassidy, from the first book, further evolved. I can’t wait to see how Bass and Bri will further evolve. All in all, another great read from TW Knight.

Samantha’s Spreading Her Wings!!

Though I absolutely love Samantha’s darker series, I was so glad to see her take a step into the paranormal world. Her writing style and character development are carried on into this story, and with it comes a lighter and airier feeling to her words.

There is a good vs. evil undertone to the story but the overall lesson is learning what is truly most important to you and finding out who you are and what you will do to be your best self. I cannot wait to see what comes next in this story, there is a whole big bad world that needs saving and Charlie and Clarisse make a great pair to take on the challenge.

Do not pass up this great novella at such a wonderful price.

Creative Mix of Historical Fiction and Time TravelDidn’t know if I would like this so I just purchased Book One and really enjoyed the mix of historical fiction and time travel. Now have the next two books loaded on my Kindle and hope they too are as fun to read. Every nation in the world got their power through conquest. Even Native Indians have that history. Pamela Ackerson has put a human face on that struggle in a very creative way that allows the reader to have their feet in both the past and present. Highly recommend!
