This was a fantastic collection of stories. WHEN THE STREETLIGHTS CAME ON is a reminiscence of Jerrys life growing up in Detroit. It takes you on a journey to a simpler time when kids could play in the streets without fear of being kidnapped the only rule being was you had to come home when the street lights come on.
END OF LIFE is a story of a man with a terminally ill spouse, remembering the good times they shared on Christmas Eve.
THREE DAYS OF DARKNESS is much darker than the first 2 stories, and it will make you think of the things you did to deserve whatever was coming to you.
All three stories are touching and told with an element of humor( especially the first one) I give Hidden lives 5 stars for great storytelling by the author.
